Before you ever hire anyone you should do a background check. But when you are hiring someone to take responsibility for your kids, it is much more important that you do nanny background checks. It can be such an agonizing decision to settle on who should watch your children when you’re away, that you should never overlook this last part of your interview process. Most people will look for free background checks and sometimes that can work. But if you want any real information such as: criminal background, sex offender background, education, credit report, DUIs, motor vehicle record and much more information, then you’re definitely going to definitely do nanny background checks.

Remember, they are irreplaceable.
